Kids' Clay Classes
Cancelled due to Covid-19
A very hard and difficult decision...
Unfortunately, we have decided that we won't be able to offer our kids' classes this summer.
There is no way we can safely have children in our studio, practicing social distancing and still learning how to make pottery pieces.
Ken is in very close contact with his students when he is teaching; maintaining a 6 foot distance between himself and a child is not feasible.
Cleaning the studio, tools, workspaces, wheels between each class is not practical or possible.
We have reached out to Verlocal (our online class registration company) and have come up with the following options regarding your deposits or payments:
We can issue a refund back to your credit card (if you registered online)
We can generate a gift certificate for the amount of your payment to be used for classes next spring or summer
We can mail you a check for the amount of your deposit or payment
Please reply to the email you received with your choice of options.
We are extremely disappointed in this turn of events. Our classes for kids and adults are the heart and soul of Shiloh Pottery.
We hope to be able to offer classes again next spring and summer and yes, we will be having a class for teens!
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
At this point, it doesn't look as if we will be offering kids' classes in the fall.
Thank you for your understanding.
